Guuuurrrrllll! You just described the reason I went back to my natural hairstyle when I turned fifty. I walked out of a beauty shop after waiting all day from an 11:00 appointment and swore I’d never go back. I. Was. Through! Do you hear me?! Through! Now, I get my hair and my brows done and leave a good tip for $20.00! I go in early morning or during the lunch hour (my barber is in the neighborhood) and I am always next in her chair. When I feel the need for color, I do it myself. Never, ever going back. Like one of my best friends says, “I shouldn’t have to pay you and beg you too!” If you decide to go for the big chop, you go for it. I love the bald cut on ladies. It is too sharp! I think it would be beautiful on you.
