My Green Thumb Isn’t So Green

This is what happens when you give a Peace Lily too much water and too much sunlight. I tried. I really did. I tried to keep my little Audrey II alive but it didn’t work. I watered her. I talked to her. I gave her sunlight. I even gave her special plant food but she rejected it all and made her way to plant Heaven.
This is one of the plants that was sent to my family after my mother’s death in June of this year. I really wanted to keep it alive….kind of like a memorial to my mom. I guess I should have read up on peace lilies before adopting this plant because I recently found out that it does not require that much water and cannot survive in direct sunlight. Great job, Krystal.

Join the club! The peace lilly given to us after my father in law died, lasted only a couple of weeks. I think that’s a record! I just give up. If plants aren’t self supporting when they come into this house, they’re in BIIIIIG TROUBLE!

So sad. Dinky started speaking in tongues tonight when she saw my plant!
